Calling all SJCET students! Are you a tech enthusiast with a knack for problem-solving? We're inviting all aspiring innovators to take part in the Internal Hackathon, the gateway to Smart India Hackathon 2025.
Form your team, pick a problem statement, and submit online to join the campus prelims.

Browse through the official SIH 2025 problem statements and select one that aligns with your team's skills and interests. Problem statements are provided by various government departments and organizations.

Submit your team details and chosen problem statement online through the registration link. Make sure to complete your submission before the deadline.

The Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is an annual nationwide initiative by the Indian government that challenges students to solve real-world problems using technology. Organized since 2017 by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell, it provides a unique platform for university students to develop innovative software and hardware solutions to tackle pressing issues identified by government ministries, public sector undertakings, and private industries. The event fosters a culture of product innovation, encourages a problem-solving mindset, and enhances technical, analytical, and practical skills through a competitive, time-bound format. Winning teams receive significant recognition and can also get incubation support to develop their prototypes into viable startups
All team members must be SJCET students. Cross-branch collaboration is encouraged to bring diverse skills and perspectives together. Open exclusively for SJCET students.
Each team should consist of 6 members, with at least one female member to promote gender diversity and inclusive innovation.
Teams must submit their details and chosen problem statement online by the deadline: Oct 8th, 1 PM. Shortlist announcement will be made by 10 PM the same day.
